Kids in the Game - Northeast

Kids in the Game runs two main camp formats: summer camps (their big, multi-week day camp program across NYC + nearby) and school break camps (shorter camps during school vacations). Both are built around their mission of “positive experiences through sports & creative play,” and both layer in more than just athletics—camp elements commonly include sports + creative themes, plus STEM and art (and in summer, they also highlight field trips and swimming, depending on the location).

For summer camps, families can choose from multiple neighborhood sites (examples include Upper West Side, multiple Upper East Side options, West Village, East Village, Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Riverdale, Inwood, Westchester (Crestwood), and Jersey City (The Heights)), each running for a set number of weeks between late June and August (with variation in site-specific start/end dates). Parent testimonials emphasize strong structure, engaging activities, supportive counselors, clear communication, and kids feeling safe/happy.

For break camps, Kids in the Game posts specific school-vacation options (for 2026, sites include Greenpoint Midwinter Recess Camp (Feb 16–20 at The Post BK) and Spring Break Camps including Greenpoint (April 2, 3, 6–10 at The Post BK) and Park Slope (April 6–10 at St. Saviour HS)). The break camps mirror the same “sports + creative play” DNA and highlight Sports/STEM/Art as core elements, with parents again calling out the welcoming staff, variety of activities, safety/communication, and kids being excited at drop-off and pickup.

School Break Camps
Starting between $115 - $125/day for a full week of camp, ranging up to $150/day for only 1-2 days of camp, with slight variations between locations.

‍Summer Camps
Starting around $715/week, when enrolling in the full 7 or 8 weeks available. Cost increases slightly for each week less (i.e. only 5 weeks costs more per week than the cost per week when enrolling in 6 weeks of camp).
