About This Activity
The Foundry’s summer circuits program is a full-week, hands-on robotics camp for rising Kindergarten through 5th grade students (in NYC locations). Each week features a distinct theme (e.g., woodland robots, space robotics, retro-inspired builds), and every day children engage in building their own robot, customizing it, doing crafts, playing games, and spending time outside. No prior robotics experience is required—the goal is to spark creative thinking, problem-solving, and confidence through fun engineering!
When on school break, check out their Foundry Funday camps. These full-day programs for K - 5th graders are filled with robot-making, movement, creativity, and laughter. Students have an awesome time building the featured robot of the day as well as participating in all of the additional activities. They’ll play games, do crafts, enjoy free play, and gett in many movement breaks! The sessions are all about having fun. Again, no previous robot experience required.

Our Take
If your child loves building, tinkering, or creative STEM projects, Brooklyn Robot Foundry’s Brownstone Brooklyn programs can be a strong, joyful fit, especially for kids who thrive in hands-on learning environments. Parents praise the staff and the excitement their children feel about what they create. Since deeper independent reviews are limited, it’s worth asking the program directly about the daily schedule, age grouping, and supervision style to ensure it matches your child’s unique needs. Overall, the feedback suggests a fun, imaginative, and well-run robotics camp that many Brooklyn families would happily return to.
