About This Activity

Bunker Park Stables offers immersive horseback riding summer camps designed for children ages 4–17. These camps provide a fun, structured introduction to horsemanship in a safe, supportive environment. They offer 1-day to 5-day options, along with full and half-day options for riders of all levels and abilities.

What Campers Learn:

  • Daily English or Western riding lessons, adjusted for beginners or returning riders.
  • Hands-on experience with grooming, saddling, and stable care.
  • Instruction in horse behavior, anatomy, safety, and handling, delivered in age-appropriate lessons and games.
  • Afternoon activities include crafts, team games, and nature walks, keeping the camp balanced between fun and education.

All sessions are led by trained riding instructors and stable staff, ensuring a low camper-to-horse ratio for personal attention and safety.

This camp is ideal for parents looking to give their kids an authentic outdoor summer experience with horses, nature, and new friends—no prior riding experience required!
