Cambridge Montessori School

The Passport summer camp hosted by Cambridge Montessori runs June to August and welcomes children ages 18 months through rising 6th grade (11 yrs). The camp hosts learners from over 20 countries and offers themed weeks (e.g., Mad Scientist, Super Hero, Carnival Week) with activities like science & nature, arts & crafts, music/movement, water-sports, and more. For the youngest group (18 months–2.9 yrs), it’s modeled on a Montessori classroom. Older campers (4–5 yrs, 6–8 yrs, and 9–11 yrs) have tailored programs with increasing independence and a mix of field trips and specials.

The Passport after-school program is hosted on-site at CMS and serves elementary students from Cambridge Public Schools (e.g., Tobin, Haggerty, Kennedy-Longfellow, Peabody, Cambridgeport). Daily after-school care includes enrichment clubs and vacation-camp options. Children are either picked up on foot from their school or from a CPS bus stop and walked to the building. Parents handle any bus stop/stop-change communications.
