About This Activity
DEA Music & Arts’ Staten Island Summer Camp is a creative, performing-arts-forward day camp that blends music, visual art, drama, and character/story play for kids ages 2–12, with multiple schedule formats depending on age and stamina. Camps are grouped into four core “levels”: Little Luminaries (ages 2–5), Bright Beginners (ages ~3.5–5), Creative Explorers (ages 5–10), and Young Virtuosos (ages 5–12). Activities are described as age- and ability-grouped, and weather permitting they may take activities outdoors at a nearby park.
A parent-friendly detail to remember is the weekly themed lineup (dates listed on the page) that rotates focus areas across the summer—examples include Piano Playground, Melody Makers, Strum & Sing (guitar/ukulele), Rock Star Jam, Beat the Rhythm (drums), Fine Arts Fiesta, Center Stage Stars (speech/drama), and Speak Up! Kids (public speaking). This makes it easier to choose weeks based on your child’s interests (music kid vs. art kid vs. theater kid vs. confidence/public-speaking kid).

- Little Luminaries (ages 2 - 5, half-day 2 days/week): $155 weekly | $90 daily
- Bright Beginners (ages 3.5 - 5, half-day 3 days/week): $250 weekly | $100 daily
- Creative Explorers (ages 5 - 10, half-day 5 days/week): $385 weekly | $85 daily
- Young Virtuosos (ages 5 - 12, full day 5 days/week): $435 weekly | $105 daily
