Nobles Day Camp

Greater Boston

About This Activity

Nobles Day Camp, held on the campus of Noble and Greenough School, offers a traditional, well-rounded summer day camp experience for children ages 4–13, with a strong emphasis on skill-building, confidence, and community. Designed with a structured yet fun approach, campers rotate through a variety of activities each day, typically including athletics, swimming, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, so they’re constantly engaged while also developing new interests in a supportive environment.

One of the standout features for parents is the camp’s focus on progression and instruction, particularly in sports and swimming. Campers receive regular swim lessons in Nobles’ on-campus pool, along with exposure to team sports and cooperative games that build both physical skills and social confidence. The program is intentionally age-grouped, ensuring that activities are developmentally appropriate while still encouraging kids to stretch themselves and try new things.

For Massachusetts families, Nobles Day Camp offers a compelling balance of classic summer camp energy with the resources of a top-tier school campus. With experienced staff, well-maintained facilities, and a reputation for strong organization and communication, it’s a reliable choice for parents looking for a structured, active, and community-oriented summer experience that keeps kids moving, learning, and connecting throughout the day.

What Parents Think Could Be Improved

Our Take

Nobles Day Camp is a classic, high-energy Massachusetts day camp that excels in variety, structure, and facilities—especially for kids who thrive in active, choice-driven environments. It’s a strong fit for families looking for a traditional summer experience with a lot packed into each day, from swimming and sports to creative exploration.

That said, it’s best suited for kids who do well in larger group settings and don’t need highly individualized attention. For parents, the key tradeoff is clear: big, dynamic camp experience and great programming, balanced against the realities of scale and logistics.
