About This Activity
North Shore Juniors Tennis Camps offers a focused, tennis-first summer experience for kids ages 7–15, designed to balance skill development with a fun, camp-like atmosphere. Programs run in weekly sessions, with full-day schedules (9 am - 3 pm) Monday through Thursday and a shorter match-play day on Friday. Campers participate in drills, games, and coached match play, with added perks like swim breaks and lunch, creating a well-rounded day that keeps kids active and engaged. The coaching staff is made up of experienced instructors and college players, and the overall philosophy emphasizes safety, enjoyment, and steady improvement, making it a strong fit for both beginners and more experienced players looking to build confidence on the court.
For younger children, the PeeWee program provides a gentle, low-commitment introduction to tennis for ages 4–6. Held in short morning sessions before the main camp day (8:15 am), these 30-minute classes focus on basic coordination, early skills, and fun exposure to the sport in a small-group setting. The program is intentionally flexible, making it an easy add-on for families testing out tennis for the first time. Together, the main camp and PeeWee option give families a clear progression path, from early introduction to more structured, skill-building play as kids grow.
