Shibley Day Camp

Shibley Day Camp is a traditional, full-service summer day camp located in Roslyn, NY, serving kids ages 3–15 (with a Counselor-in-Training program for teens). The program is built around a well-rounded, structured daily schedule that keeps kids active and engaged from morning to afternoon. Campers rotate through a mix of activities—including daily swim instruction (plus free swim), team and individual sports, creative arts, science, and adventure programming—all set on a wooded, 20+ acre campus that feels more like a sleepaway camp than a typical day camp.

One of Shibley’s defining features is its “balanced program” approach, where younger campers are introduced to a wide range of activities, while older campers gain more independence through elective periods and choice-based scheduling. Throughout the day, kids might move from swim lessons to sports like soccer or tennis, to arts or theater, and then to adventure elements like ropes courses, zip lines, or even go-karts.
