YMCA - Camp Massapoag

Camp Massapoag is the YMCA of Greater Lowell’s outdoor day camp, located in Dunstable, MA on beautiful Massapoag Pond. It’s a classic “get dirty, be outside all day” kind of camp with a strong emphasis on fresh air, friendship, and old-school camp fun.

Elementary and middle school kids are bused in from the Greater Lowell area to spend the day by the water and in the woods, then head home by late afternoon.

This summer camp is a good fit for kids who enjoy being outdoors most of the day, first-time campers who need a structured but non-intense day camp, and returning campers who love water, animals, and active play.

Every day at Camp Massapoag, campers rotate through a mix of outdoor, water, and creative activities, for example:

• Swimming and waterfront play on Massapoag Pond
• Boating (kayaks/canoes or similar age-appropriate craft)
• Archery
• Low ropes course and team-building challenges
• Sports and field games (soccer, kickball, relay races, etc.)
• Creative arts & crafts and nature projects
